How We Execute · Stage 01

Drawing
Review

"We flag problems before they become costs."

Every project begins with a structured drawing review — before any quote is issued. Specification conflicts, structural interface gaps, and material ambiguities are identified at this stage, in writing, so they cannot become production surprises.

What We Do — Stage 01

Four things that happen
at this stage.

Every action at this stage is documented. Nothing proceeds on verbal instruction alone.

01
Review all submitted drawings
Every PDF, DWG, DXF, or STEP file is reviewed against the project brief before any commercial response is issued.
02
Identify specification conflicts
Structural interface mismatches, ambiguous aperture dimensions, edge treatment contradictions, and material gaps are documented in a written review note — not resolved verbally.
03
Issue a material and system recommendation
Based on the reviewed drawings, we identify the appropriate system, material grade, finish, and tolerance standard for the application environment.
04
Respond within one working day
Every drawing submission receives a written technical response within one working day. No exceptions.
Input to this stage
Client drawings (PDF · DWG · DXF · STEP · IGS)
Output from this stage
Written drawing review note + system and material recommendation
Non-Negotiable Rules

What we will not
compromise on.

These rules are not preferences. They are fixed operating standards. They exist because the cost of bypassing them — in rework, in project failure, in client trust — always exceeds the short-term convenience of bypassing them.

No quote before drawing review
We do not issue pricing or lead times before the drawings have been reviewed. Quoting blind creates downstream risk.
All feedback in writing
Verbal review notes do not exist at JBL Metal. Every finding is documented in a written review record.
Conflicts flagged, not resolved unilaterally
If a specification conflict exists, we flag it to the client. We do not resolve it by assumption.
