Link pitch determines visual density and sun control performance
The spacing between coil links controls the open area percentage, which directly affects solar heat gain, visual transparency, and wind load. Pitch is specified from performance requirements โ€” not visual preference.
Hanging and suspension systems are part of the specification
Top-fixing rails, bottom weights, intermediate supports, and lateral wind restraint are all part of the coil system specification. They are confirmed from structural drawings before production.
Dynamic behaviour under wind load must be assessed
Coil mesh in exterior applications moves under wind load. The suspension system must accommodate this movement without generating noise or mechanical fatigue. This is assessed at drawing review stage.
